Goldie Chorus is the androgynous and escapistic alias of Emil Davidsen where anything is possible. As this pseudonym Emil creates alternative pop music not unlike some of the most interesting artists at the moment (like Ariel Pink, Connan Mockasin and Kindness) with the ability to combine soul groove, Bowie-like vocals with virtues such as the repetitive drive of krautrock and exploration of the synthesizer’s endless possibilities.      @antiphonics

All Those Ships' Brandon MacNeil tries to stay away from more traditional songwriting tropes. The new album sounds a bit more polished than 2010’s Perils, but without losing too much of the DIY, lo-fi sensibilities which led one reviewer to describe his music as “a diverse blend of folk music drenched in sweat.” In short, it’s folk, but fuzzy. Sometimes like a kitten, sometimes more like a porcupine.     @allthoseships

Rand. Born and raised right outside of our nation’s capital, is now a resident of Music City, USA. He is 21 years old and aspires to write songs that restore a little bit of hope to a world that so often crushes it. Maybe that’s a lofty ambition, but maybe we’re supposed to have one or two lofty ambitions. listen with your eyes closed or your feet moving or maybe both if you’re feeling up to it.      @randwalter
