Samantha Fish recalls her first musical taste as the classic rock of The Rolling Stones and Tom Petty, alongside contemporary artists like Sheryl Crow and The Black Crowes, but after several underage clandestine visits to the Knuckleheads Saloon blues club in her native Kansas City, she followed the thread from modern masters like Zito and Tab Benoit, through fallen ’80s heroes like Stevie Ray Vaughan, right back to the pre-war Delta masters.

Tara Rice is a Toronto based singer-songwriter, and her new EP, the six-track “Panorama” is frequently soothing, sometimes spiky, and more often than not, quite lovely. Produced by Rice and Sködt McNalty, the pair have put together a collection where every musical piece seems to have fallen into place. That’s no mean feat when we consider Rice’s range of influences and the often-conflicting approaches she takes to her music.

Manmade Mountains started as a couple of friends from high school playing folk music at an open mic night every Monday night has now turned in to the band you hear today. The band moved it's center from Gwinnett to Athens as we began college in 2012. Our first show in the city was on the street corner, for all of Athens to hear. As we moved up through the ranks and began to take ourselves seriously as musicians we found the business to be to our liking. We are currently recording our first album entitled "We Were There." It will be released by late March.

Sub-Radio Standard is bringing a rebirth to the standard pop rock song. Matt Prodanovich (Lead Guitar/Vocals) and John Fengya (Keyboard/Guitar) had been experimenting with melodies and riffs since 2005; but there’s only so much ground to cover with two guitarists and no rhythm section. Enter multi-instrumentalist Michael Pereira (Drums), Adam Bradley (Lead Vocals), Mark 'Barry' Siford (Bass) and Mike Chinen (Rhythm guitar) and SRS was suddenly overflowing with explosively catchy songs.

Icicle is the brainchild of Krassy Halatchev. Born and raised in communist Bulgaria, Krassy grew up with a few tight friends who were true music maniacs. Being one of them as well, he studied and analyzed every note of the repertoire of his favorite bands (Pink Floyd, The Police, Depeche Mode, The Cure). A very first and precious gift from his friends and band mates – a Fender Music Master – turned out to be the best investment they ever made. That bass changed Krassy’s life.

The Good Wives are Jacob Bruggman, Nicholas Alexander, and Shane Berg. They are an indie-rock band based out of Seattle, WA. Jacob writes some words then sings them while playing an acoustic guitar. Nicholas handles guitar solos, representing our low-end presence by use of the best technology we can budget, and occasional backing vocals- typically the more ruckus contributions. Shane also plays guitar, but his offerings are typically more rhythmic with some surprise hooks and appearances of 7th notes as well as contributing backing vocals.
